I'm Back with Pics
08.31.06 (8:14 pm) [edit]
Finally my monitor fixed up... I can do my daily routine to work with my PC (doing what? nothing actually...).
Hmmm, for about a week I went home to Jakarta to look how my house renovated. Doors, kitchen, bathroom, ceilings, upstairs, etc finally redone in almost 2 months. They’re furnished, repainted, retiled, redecorated with downlight lamps, etc. And the concept seems to be modern-ethnic (but still I am asking for a new couch to be placed in front of the TV :P !!!). I met my ‘lil brothers too, we spent much time in our house to watch TV and get busy with dad’s laptop. Oh Lord, its game bloody vintage, its files bloody boring (files of all his work!). But my brother has put much wallpapers and music on it, they’re installed from his flashdisk. Enjoy it Dad, it much enlightens huh?!
To Meet Hermione
Today I went to Hermione’s place. It’s her turn now to move to another boarding house. And I found out my job clearly: helping her physically. Bit tiring, but it’s fine bcos I can meet her. We had much discussion on lunch. It started with Putri Indonesia beauty pageant, then the conversation getting longer when we talked about job opportunities and football ^_^! Always on football! We bind up in this.
Even the waiter seemed to spy around on what we’re talking about, huehehehe! Sorry, we made that noise like crazy, but we did not annoy anybody but him because we’re only guests there at the moment.
Well, I said to her that I wished Mr. Alex Ferguson soon would be replaced by Eric Cantona (yes, MU fans heard the rumour, r8?). She agreed (thx u Hermi ^-^…). Then we talked about coaches like Domenech that she adores, Mourinho, Wenger (she adores this man too), etc. Then I got very surprised to hear her confession that she also admired Klinsi’s successor: Joachim Löw! OMG… OMG… Hermione, what have u done?!?! I surprised, I laughed, I chuckled, I didn’t know what’s on her mind :DDD. See, finally you respect der Mannschaft!
D: Hermione, listen, u have to know that he (Löw) is six years older than Klinsi (I feel ‘better’, doh =_-…).
H: Oh ya? I just like him. On German Team, I like Löw (c’mon…), Schwensteiger, and Frings…
D: Yeah, versus Italy, German lost without Frings…
She’s very happy because EPL now coming. Yeah, everyone knows that this girl fond of Shevchenko. And now we think Italy League is not that interesting anymore, due to the scandals. We also reviewed that big club with superplayers - like Chelsea and Real Madrid - only wasted their stars. We mean those clubs run inefficiently. They may win the league, but they couldn’t develop their players entirely and personally. Only developed players, no developing players. The personification of this case is just like… mmm…we mentioned like beauty pageant (again, emotionally… and we even mentioned names here, hehehehe), in some case the contestant very beautiful, but she has no brain or she answers not to the core…viewers sure she’snt going to win (within the criteria of ‘brain’)… but juries decide she’s the winner -_- (with much interest inside. Then viewers get realized that this is institutional event, not national…they’re cheated at last :P ). So, it’s obviously ‘don’t’ judge a book by its cover’… don’t judge a team by its stars…
Got Pics
These some of pics I capture from my VGA cellphone, for kicks, on August. Click to see the larger version (though VGA doesn’t work as well as megapixel cam.)
Those are children on the block near my previous boarding house. They like to play hide and seek and ‘stone bowling’ (piling 5-7 stones up, then they strike them with ball as if they played real bowling. Good idea…).
This is the scenery from the 2nd floor of my ex-boarding house, still with my VGA cellphone. It’s about 4.30 pm. I’d like to stand and watched the sky from there which quiet, cool, and serene.
Please introduce, Oméng.
Gender: male.
Location: my residence in Jakarta.
Age: 5-6 y.o.
Color: black and grey with jaguar motive, white fur on his nose, neck and palms.
Hobbies: hunting for mice, arranging clash with strange cats (he’s the boss there), noticing his area with pee -____- , sleeping at the top of washing machine/ refrigerator.
Other info: actually he belongs to our neighbor but he often visits our house. My brother and I saved this cat when he was dying at the attic (we did not know what happened to him. He looked so sick, skinny, weak and seemed to suffer from cold. No scar or injury, but we thought he’d just had some fight with another cat and he got sick). His coming is recognized with harsh voice. Mom n dad quite like him and even forbid other cats to come. Sometimes he’s smelly X_____X . ,
Well well well, look ‘what’s’ here… Giant ‘statue’ of Mauro Camoranesi, about 9-10 feet tall (the statue around 6-7 feet, the stage around 3 feet). This ‘thing’ was made by the people who lived near Taka’s place to commemorate the 61st anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence Day (r u kidding?!). OK, the text below his feet is a wish for better football achievement in this country.
Taka thought it was the figure of Andrea Pirlo. But she wrong. When we moved closer to read something written under his feet, oh… it is ‘Camoranesi’. It is Camoranesi?!?!?!
When Taka showed me this ‘creature’, I stunned… funny … and scared. People there must be huge fans of Italy… (Taka & I argued that it should have been Zidane because he’s the best players of the WC ’06 :’( ) but…when the result going like this, it’d be better off Camoranesi.Hehehehehe!
While last year the people made a giant statue of rat-headed man wearing blue tuxedo while ‘his’ feet chained to a cannonball, that figure needed to remind us much on corruptors living in this country and they must be sentenced.

08.14.06 (6:33 pm) [edit]
Finally I can make a post. I typed this on my friend's PC, she's sleeping now. While I can not work with my own PC bcoz its monitor is being repaired :(.
I am still busy with my goodies and packs bcause this August I must move from this boarding house... Hmmm, things seem to change a lot bcoz I have to leave this cozy place (the landlady only accepts annual payment and I guess I'm not going to stay here one more year and I've found another place rent for some months). I have to leave the girls :(... The cats (hehehe...)... I'll be missing u all...
I'll still be living here in Jatinangor for some months. Less comfortable than the previous, my new place provides no TV, no refrigerator, and it's building for entire: boys and girls...
I'll be on the 2nd floor where girls only. It'll be open air outside my room, and I'd love the nice flowing wind. I could hear and see children studying english because it's next to the english learning centre.
But still I'm bit frustrated because my room gives me 'emptiness': no bed, no bathroom, no desk, just floor, walls, ceiling, door, and window. Damn... This is ridiculous! OK, Ok I guess it's not a big problem because I was in urgency to choose that place. I might move next month :P.If I get some job in Bandung, perhaps I'll move to Bandung like my friends. But I need some time to concentrate for the admission test of government's Department of Int'l Affairs this October so I wouldn't apply for any vacancies these months (except if there some that more interesting).
Then yesterday I and Taka went to Bandung Supermall. Well, we're just doing window shopping. Stuffs were cute and unaffordable. Nice smells of foods made us confused (though finally we kept choosing our fav. resto for lunch). But we got excellent perfumes of latest Cartier, Aigner, CK, and Nina Ricci testers sprayed to us ^-^ (btW, this not endorsement)... She also treated me a ticket to ride rollercoaster too. I couldn't refuse coz she badly wanted it and never experienced that amusement b4. And oh my God... that rollercoaster was insanity at all! We're just scared to death bcos of its bloody twisting rail!!!_< After the ride, we remained stunned for some hour. We became anxious to use ecalator. At last we're very proud (and lucky we still alive '_') coz we've just passed the fear factor :DDD.
It's nice to be with her again. She's just returned from Tulungagung and been cured fom typhus. And she said that she would straightly go back to Tulungagung if she's done with all campus' administration and revising her thesis. Yeah it seems to be so rushed, I thought she would be here for some month for healing the stress or just enjoying the city... And she told me that it was all of her mother's request to have her daughter home as soon a possible because there's vacancy for her to work in local TV station... I couldn't say anything, further she's dependent to her conservative family.>
And I dunno what happens recently. I mean, I'm wondering why friends always ask me when I will get married -_- I came to my campus few days ago, and they asked me lot about that. Even some might make foolish gossip that 'Dita is being close to someone and they're about going to marry'. Crazy! When I visited mosque to pray, another friend asked me not to forget to invite her on the wedding. Get a life! The gossip seems to be too much! I felt like I wanted to scream or arrange kind of press conference to clarify that those gossip are extremely wrong! How come they say that?! They even couldn't name who 'the man' . I am single!
Then I came to 'liqo' last Friday, my murabbiyah also asked me for 'the proposal' becoz (I think) she's going to search for 'qualified candidate' (or she's aready had the one? '_0). That was the second time she put me on the same topic. Hmmm, I could only smile why she couldn't stop thinking on that. Why me? Why doesn't she ask others? I think I am not going to give 'the proposal' to her this time. I'm just looking for the right time to do that design for life while preparing myself. And I met Akh Salman last nite, he told me that it needed a strong determination to do that (he's married though he's still a college student and he keeps pushing me to get married '_- )
Well, Ramadhan is going to come...
Is the war going to end for that holy month?...
Allahumma baariklana fii Rajaba wa Sya'ban wa balilna Ramadhan...
