It’s 11.45 pm and I’ve just revised my thesis.
Taka still in Tulungagung, she sent me SMS this afternoon telling that she’s just suffering from typhus. She suspected that she had dengue fever too, but the laboratory test showed nil viruses. Finally u do not have to enter the hospital. Be good, Gal, so we can hang out and have some PH dishes again, hmmm :P .
While Mini is having her leisure in her hometown, Bangka, to meet her family. Perhaps she returns early August. My boarding house becomes quiet(er) bcos everybody going home.
Ok, this week I am busy to pursue my lecturers for thesis’ finishing touch, and today it’s done. Fuuuh, finally I can breathe easy…
Then what for the next destination? Postgraduate program I’m thinking about! And it must be going abroad. I and Hermione went to Hyatt Regency Bandung looking for some info about it. Hyatt was arranging Australian education exhibition, several universities and scholarship had their opportunities to introduce themselves. We went to each of stands, picked some brochures and got bags (becoz we’re ‘talkative’) and snooped to people consulting to the staffs. Those stands: Flinders Univ., RMIT, IDP, Univ. of New South Wales, Bank of Commonwealth, Charles Darwin Univ.,etc. And finally Monash Univ. that we’re interested in.
Well, at first we just dropping by and listening to what the staff said (to other people). We read the guide book, and we found that Monash is two thumbs up for Int’l Relations (IR) postgraduate study. There are a lot of IR-related courses!
Hermi and I often smiled to each other… to show that “well, this is what we are looking for”. Taking a deep breath, we asked the staff (I forgot her name, a native) for some explanation. We asked her that we need further info about Master of IR or Master of Art program, but we guessed she did not get it bcoz she explained about Master of Int’l Business instead (oh no, we do not need it!!! To us, that’s crap, hehehehe!). K, perhaps she underestimated us, girls with veils hehehe, perhaps she thought that we could not talk much on politics (u’re wrong, Mam… we’ve studied politics, politics, and politics for four years! We’re politician, hehehe! Take that!). Then I told her once again that we were actually looking for Master of Art/IR.
Then she asked another staff, a native man who knew much about the program. The conversation began, and we went to the core that the subject we’re more interested in is Master of Counter-Terorism! He seemed to be shocked (hehehe, girls in veil asking about terrorism, hehehehe, we’re not terrorists Sir!). Then he explained about the program. We forgot his last name; we just remember that his firstname is Alan. Well, I talked the most to deliver Hermi’s question from Bahasa to English.
Master of Counter-Terrorism:
Campus on Clayton.
Mode of study: coursework.
Duration: 1,5 years.
Annual fee: $19.500.
Intake: March/July
We had dinner at Italian resto with the topics of every conversation: “Monash-Monash-Monash. Excellent. If we’re too afraid of Monash in Melbourne, we can go to Monash in Malaysia. And we know that he (Alan) bloody surprised when we asked about that Terrorist stuff”. Talking about the major, we now think that Master of Art/IR just … too wide subject, not detailed. Besides, I am fascinated in German Studies (ehem… ehem… ) and Slavic Studies (related to my thesis bout Yugoslavia). Hermi also interested in Slavic Studies (because it also concerns about Ukraine - Hermi, come on we’re not talking about Shevchenko, r8 -_- ?!?!) and Korean Studies (we’re not talking about its cinemas, r8 -___- ?!).

("HOAAAAAAAHHHMMM", 'O" nguap ceritanya) Well, it's 2.30 the morning, I slept at six pm, hehehehe... when i woke up, it was eleven. Sepi... And I got my 'dinner' at twelve :P
Sbenernya gue gak niat nulis. But one thing crossing my mind: seseorang yang 'backstabbing' elo, n you found out that the person is your friend, even your bestfriend. geee... Well, itu selalu terjadi kalo gue lagi jalan or ngobrol sama dia. Panggil aja dia "X". Gue kira dia bakal introspeksi diri or nyadar or gimana gitu yah, tapi ternyata tuh orang nggak berubah.
'Backstabbing'-nya sih menurut gue lebih ke kata2 n sikap. Seharusnya dia bisa dong pengertian ke gue kalo gue punya masalah or unpleasant thing, tapi dianya malah nyecer abis gitu dan semua kata2nya bisa gue simpulin kalo sebenernya dia lagi bilang "Elo tuh SALAH!!!!".
Siapa sih lo?!?! Situ artis?!?! Situ OK?!?! Dan bukan gue aja yang ngerasa keluhan yang sama. Bocah2 yang lain tuh juga. Yang lain pada ngenilai kalo si "X" ini orangnya stubborn abis n kalo ngomong suka nyinggung perasaan orang (or yang disinggung terlalu sensitip yak?) n mau menangnya sendiri. Susah untuk dibantah, boro2 dibantah, kita ngasih advise aja dianya malah jadi panas or ngebantah ampe tuh muka kaya kepiting rebus karena jadi emosian...
Ujung2nya, testi di FSter dia pada bilang nih anak emosian n gak bisa jaga perasaan orang laen . Mungkin kalo keras kepala sih gue pribadi masih bisa terima, tapi masalahnya sikap dia yang suka nyinggung perasan orang n nggak ragu nge-judge. Mikir dong! Well, kalo lagi butuh sesuatu ama orang laen, dia malah jadi baek minta ampun. Gue aja ngeliatnya jadi aneh :S.
Kalo gue ama temen2 'jadi korban sepetan' dia, kita tuh yang pengen banget nyeletuk "woy ini di kota, bukan di desa! kampung banget sih lo!!!". Emang udah bawaan dari sononya kali yah nih anak kaya begitu. Kaya gak nyadar gitu loh kalo cara dia untuk negur or ngingetin malah nyakitin orang. Dan kalo gue peratiin, yah dari dulu nih anak gak terlalu banyak temennya, kaya soliter gituloh. Dampak dia ga bisa behave ke orang laen kali yah...
Btw, gue lagi suka lagu Same Same, Love Isn't :). Saking asiknya, reff-nya gue jadiin tone buat HP ^_^. Emang sih lagunya menye-menye gimana gitu, cuman seru aja...sweet gitu deh . Kemaren waktu Same2 showcase ke BIP, gue yang pengen liat gituh. Tapi gue lagi di Jakarta. Tadi juga liat CD-nya, mo beli tapi gue lagi pengen ngirit. Lagi denger lagunya Goo Goo Dolls, Iris. Sempet liat remake-nya yang dinyanyiin Ronan Keating di TV. Kok jadi garing ya...

Der trainer Klinsmann stepped down four days after leading Germany to a third-place finish at the World Cup, earning praise across the nation. He ignored calls to stay, from Chancellor Angela Merkel down to the ordinary fans.
Merkel said she was "very sad" to see him go. Franz Beckenbauer, who has won the World Cup with Germany as a player and coach, said Klinsmann should have taken more time to make a decision.
Klinsmann delegated much of the practical work and, in Löw (one of the 'DFB boys' hehehehehe), has left a hand-picked successor who is likely to keep the team's open, attacking and entertaining style.
While there were weighty arguments suggesting Klinsmann might agree to extend a contract, there were also at least six key reasons why the free-spirit from Stuttgart would prefer to return to his adopted home in California for good (Is it good idea someday I'll visit his house at OC?!):
K, Klinsmann was always unpredictable and unconventional during his playing career. He almost never stayed anywhere for more than two years and left some clubs, such as Tottenham Hotspur, after just one season to move on.
Then, he is close to his family and cherishes his anonymous life in California.
The German Football Association had caused him much grief in two years, challenging his decisions, denying several staff requests and hiring some executive personnel he opposes.
Klinsmann had faced constant media second-guessing and criticism over his California home base from newspapers. And he is still cool.
He knows it will be hard to duplicate the success he has had in taking Germany to the World Cup semi-finals.
Above all, he does not need the money, aha...
He had said: 'I'm not dependent on long-term job security. I want my own time.'. Just like me: easy to get bored, hihihi

I’m baaaack… horeeeee… horeeeee… rasa2nya kaya abis balik dari Stuttgart atawa dari The Schlosshotel sambil mampir ke Brandenburg Gate, eforianya masih ada. Gue gak peduli Itali menang Piala Dunia lawan Perancis (tapi insidennya Zidane itu sempet membuat gue shock ‘_’, mana katanya kakak sepupunya Taka ampe nenangis2, hihihihi, segitunya…).
Yang penting Jerman! Yeeeeeeeeee!!!

Btw, akhirnya demam Piala Dunia 2006 selesei, ujung2nya… jadi susah tidur neh kalo malem, not a big deal, lagian juga dah gak kuliah ini, hueheheheh (FYI, gue wisuda bo, kmaren tanggal 3 Juni 2006, nambah gelar Sarjana Ilmu Politik a.k.a S.IP, trus si Mini juga nambahin gelar buat gue: ‘AC’ alias Akhwat Curang, hahahahahaha)

Btw, buat Munawir, syukron lhooo dah selalu mengingetkan gue untuk posting.
Minggu lalu gue sempet balik ke Jkt, rumah yang lagi renov gitu, ancur deh, nggak banget. Mana Jakarta panasnya amit2an deh… Tapi itu nggak mengurangi semangat buat nonton bola! Yeeeah…
Well, Piala Dunia taon ini buat gue penuh struggle. Ini buat gue, karena sempet ngungsa-ngungsi buat bela2in nonton match-nya Jerman, sementara taon 2002 kemaren gue gak terlalu pedulian Piala Dunia karena ngurus kuliah n jam tayang yang bentrok ama kegiatan2.
Taon ini gue harus struggle buat nyari tempat nonton! Ini gara2 sinyal SCTV di kosan gue jelek, payah deh. Pas babak2 penyisihan gue ngungsi2 ke kosannya Wiwit n’ Hermione, n balik ke Jkt pas perempat final (sembari ngikut mabit karena Ija& Patty walimahan tanggal 24 Juni… di Pusda’i… barakallah yaaa…).Well, masing2 pada jago2in getuh deh…:
Hermi: team ‘Sheva’
Taka: team ‘Christiano Ronaldo’ (we named him ‘Andeng2 Lumut’)
Minnie San: team ‘Totti’
Nena: team Prancis (I’m so sorry…)
Seno: team Inggris
Eric: team Prancis, tapi ngasi suport juga ke Amrik (standar ganda loeh!!!)
Marcel: team Brazil, tapi tiba2 pindah ke team Jerman gituh
Cilly: team Inggris
Darius: team Portugal (nih bocah padahal ada turunan Jerman, tapi baguslah ngasih dukungan gak berdasarkan nepotisme)
Efen: ga jelas
Baz: ga jelas
Selly: team Italia (dengan segala argumen keras kepalanya :-! waktu kita ngobrol bareng Nena…)
Gue: team ‘Klinsmann’ dooong (yeeeeeeaaaa!)
Ujung2nya, pas gue ampe Nangor kemaren, pas ketemu Minnie, kita yang langsung pelukan getuh, “selamat yaaaaa… selamat…”.
Skarang gue lagi gak ada gawean alias nganggur. Kemaren si Nena ditelpon TV7, dikabarin kalo dia lulus seleksi akhir reporter. Selamet yaaaa… maap, pas lo nyari2 gue, gue saat itu lagi tidur, ngebayar jet lag -_-
Tapi di kesempatan laen, gue ngobrol ama Taka n kita berdua yang anti ama Itali gitu:

Btw, sempet kaget juga denger berita ada kemungkinan der trainer bakal cabut dari DFB. Hiks… hiks… :’’’( Tapi ada kemungkinan juga dia masih bertahan jadi platih kalo ngeliat semua rakyat Jerman yang meminta dia untuk tetep melatih, palagi Ballack yang sering bicara ke dia atas nama kapten. Tapi, setiap ditanya pers, Klinsi sendiri blon bisa ngasi jawaban

Dan ironisnya, beberapa menit lalu gue browsing, n ternyata Klinsi jadi stepping down... alias dah mutusin cabut dari kepelatihan DFB. Hwaaaaaaaaaa!!! Don't leave hoooome .<
